How To Make Chocolate-Covered Oreos

Ingredients:

Double Stuf Oreos  – Chocolate Melting WafersSprinkles, Edible glitter sprinkles, chopped nuts, crushed candies, and crushed cookies are optional toppings. – Colored Candy Melts – if you want the Oreos to be dipped in color.

Equipment For Chocolate-Covered Oreos:

Microwave-Safe BowlFork or Slotted SpoonParchment PaperOreo Mold (optional)

Step 1:

Heat the melting wafers in a microwave-safe bowl at 30-second increments, stirring in between. Add 2 or 3 Oreos to the melted chocolate. Using a fork or spoon, gently cover the cookies in chocolate.

Step 2:

Take the Oreos out one at a time using a fork or slotted spoon. Allow any excess chocolate to drip off before placing the cookie to dry on the parchment paper.

Step 3:

If adding sprinkles to each Oreo, allow the cookies to set for a few minutes. Allow 30 minutes for the chocolate to harden completely, or put them in the fridge for 15 minutes.

Step 4:

Once the chocolate-covered oreos are dry you can add them to gift boxes. They make great gifts!
