How To Make Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars

By Danielle Nieman

Ingredients:

-2 cups of graham cracker crumbs -2 cups of powdered sugar -1 cup of peanut butter -1 cup of butter -12 ounces of chocolate chips -2 tablespoons of butter

Step 1:

Crush 16 sheets of graham crackers in a Ziplock bag. I used a rolling pin to crush the crackers into fine crumbs.

Step 2:

Add the graham cracker crumbs, powdered sugar, peanut butter, and melted butter to a bowl and mix.

Step 3:

Add the peanut butter mixture to a 9 x 13 or 9 x 9 pan lined with parchment paper.

Step 4:

Melt two tablespoons of butter and 12 ounces of chocolate chips in the microwave. Stir and melt until smooth at 15-second increments.

Step 5:

Spread the melted chocolate evenly on top of the peanut butter mixture.

Step 6:

Set the pan in the refrigerator for 90 minutes. Add optional pretzels at this time.

Step 7:

Use a sharp knife to cut the chocolate peanut butter bars into squares after 90 minutes in the fridge.
