Best Fried Oysters Recipe

This recipe uses an egg coating, flour coating, and a panko coating. This ensures the best crispy fried oysters.

Check your local grocery store in the deli section or the meat and fish department for freshly shucked oysters. You'll need one pint. Buying them shucked is much easier!

Spicy Dipping Sauce Ingredients – 2 tbsp Mayonnaise – 2 tbsp Sour cream – 1 tbsp cream cheese – 2 tsp chives, diced. – 2 tsp Dijon Mustard – 1 tsp Red Wine Vinegar – 1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper – 1 tsp Tapatio – A quarter of a lime – 2 tbsp Red onion

Deep Fried Oyster Tip:

Add 2 to 2.5 cups of peanut oil to the pan. The oil should be 1.5 inches high in the pan. Begin heating the oil until it reaches 375 degrees F. Be sure to check this temperature using a thermometer. The right temperature will ensure crispy perfection.
