How To Make Cream Cheese Stuffed Peppers, Step-By-Step
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
Wash and dry the peppers. Cut each pepper in half, lengthwise, and remove the seeds. Set aside.
Finely chop the green onions and grate the cheese if you bought a brick.
Add the softened cream cheese, shredded pepper jack cheese, and green onions to a mixing bowl. Mix thoroughly with a hand or stand mixer, OR you can use your hands to mix the ingredients. Add salt and pepper to taste once the filling is combined.
Add 1/2 to 1 tablespoon of cream cheese filling to each pepper. There is enough filling to fill 24 pepper halves, aka 12 whole peppers.
Add the stuffed peppers to a baking sheet and bake them at 400 degrees F for 15 minutes.
Remove the baked peppers from the hot sheet immediately and serve.
